Your Role:

  • Take ownership of issues reported by customers, and internal teams and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve technical issues
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and issues.
  • Document and track software defects, and work with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within the QA and Tech Support teams.
  • Participate in regression testing, smoke testing, and other types of software testing as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Provide feedback on user experience and software functionality.
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity

Our Checklist:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in software quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case management tools is a plus.
  • Passion for ensuring a high level of quality in software products.
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • The ability to program in one language is desirable
