Your Role:
- Take ownership of issues reported by customers, and internal teams and see problems through to resolution
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve technical issues
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
- Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and issues.
- Document and track software defects, and work with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within the QA and Tech Support teams.
- Participate in regression testing, smoke testing, and other types of software testing as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Provide feedback on user experience and software functionality.
- Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity
Our Checklist:
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case management tools is a plus.
- Passion for ensuring a high level of quality in software products.
- Knowledge of SQL
- The ability to program in one language is desirable
